Someone ought to tell the American Idol hopefuls this season that being an Idol isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, especially as a winner. Fantasia Barrino is in debt “up to her eyeballs” according to TMZ.. Sheriff’s deputies have been trying to track her down regarding the $65,000 she owes on a loan, but she’s not owning up to it, and neither is anyone else in her camp. Her home in Charlotte is going to end up going on the market on Monday.

This just in from TMZ that Kevn Costner was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday. He was driving to a meeting in Hollywood around 10:00 in the morning when he started feeling light-headed and ill. He did the right thing, pulling over, calling 911, and waiting for help to arrive. While he was waiting, he started throwing up. Paramedics transported him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he underwent tests, but when they turned up negative, Costner was released. I’d be afraid to drive alone now. Any women out there willing to just sit and stare at him all day … you know, just in case something happened again?

Kid Rock is still really upset about Judge Alvin T. Wong telling him that performing for our troops overseas isn’t community service, as the judge feels it’s just doing what Rock would normally be doing, performing, so it isn’t much of a punishment. Did Rock disagreed on his blog, according to Starpulse, published the judges contact details online, and is now telling TMZ if the judge likes practicing law so much, he should go “practice f**king law in Iraq for a month, if he’s so badass.” I’m guessng Judge Wong will turn him down. The eighty hours community service was Rock’s punishment for his Waffle House brawl.

Pardon my Homer Simpson moment here. Mmm, waffles.

Brad Pitt is finally speaking out about the words that have gone on between his ex, Jennifer Aniston, and his live-in lover and mother of his children, Angelina Jolie. He told W Magazine that Jen was a “sweetheart,” and that he thought she “got dragged into” making the remarks she did against Angelina. He also stresses that they filmed Mr. and Mrs. Smith for a year, and that they were still filming when he and Jen broke up, and it was only after that that he and Angelina got together. At least he didn’t shout at Jen “We were on a break!” like Ross did.

It looks like Jodi Sweetin’s house will only be full part of the time. According to people.com, after filing for a legal separation from her husband last November and asking for joint custody, her husband accused her of slipping in her sobriety, after spending time to recover from her addictions to alcohol and meth. Sweeten swears she has only had a couple glasses of wine lately, and that was it. She claims to not have touched meth since her recovery. A judge ruled in the matter saying they would share custody 50/50, but Jodi will have to have her visits with her daughter at her parents’ home where she is currently staying, or at least in the presence of one of her parents.

You learn something new everyday. According to Larry Flint, there’s a difference between good and bad porn. He’s upset with his two nephews, Jimmy Flynt II and Dustin Flynt, for selling “inferior products” under the Flynt name, according to popeater.com. Right, because everyone everywhere holds the name Larry Flynt in such high regard. Reportedly the nephews were former employees of Uncle Larry’s, then were fired. They struck out on their own with their own line of porn which Uncle Larry doesn’t approve of.

I’d be interested to know if the people watching these “inferior products” even noticed a difference. I say we set up a test and have people watch both sets of porn, Larry’s and his nephews’. Do you think anyone will notice the difference?

It was a slow couple of days for celebrity gossip, but today there’s some goodies in store. It’s like they save it up for me or something. Not one to waste time (well, okay, occasionally to play solitaire or Bejeweled for awhile), let’s dish a little.

First, we have to discuss Anne Heche’s latest. I say latest, as sometimes I wonder if everything is just an attempt for publicity, whether it’s in her personal or public life. This week, she’s appearing in court telling a judge she can’t pay her child support. I need to add here that that support is nearly $15,000 … a month. Since Men In Trees was cancelled, she hasn’t received any cash, other than a fee for a movie role she signed up for, at $65,000. I’m thinking most single moms would love to get $15,000 a year in support, forget about every month. And $65,000 is more than many make in a year.

Checking in with another troubled mom, Britney Spears is off for a vacation in Costa Rica. The interesting thing is who her travel partner is. She is traveling with her father and neighbor. The neighbor isn’t the stay-at-home-mom down the street; it’s Mel Gibson. Perhaps they’re bonding over the fact that neither of them can do anything right in the eyes of us celebrity gossip people.
