What’s Hot On TV Tonight - Fox Thinks It’s Saturday
This had me checking the calendar. I’m not sure why, but Fox is airing Cops and America’s Most Wanted tonight, when ithey have traiditonally always been on on Saturdays. I’m a bit confused, but that’s not something new. Maybe Fox has decided that none of us are smarter than 5th graders and that we’ve all forgotten the lyrics. In another oddity, every half hour show that appears in the second half hour of primetime is a repeat on every network, while the first half hours are all new.
1. St. Elmo’s Fire. One of the last of the brat pack movies with them finally making it out of high school and preparing to graduate college. Refresh your memory about this film at Sazze. 11:30 AM CT Oxygen
2. The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen’s guest is Jennifer Aniston, promoting He’s Just Not That Into You. Stevie Wonder performs as well. Syndicated, check local listings.
3. Ghost Whisperer. Melinda must deal with an overbearing mom ghost. 7:00 PM CT CBS
4. Howie Do It. Aspiring models get asked to participate in an ad cmapgin for a cologne by wearing diapers, shoppers at a mall are left with a bad taste in their mouths because of bottled water samples, a man wanting to lang a gig as a kids’ show host puts on a pig costume and rolls around in the mud, and Alex does a hands-on meet and greet in the street. 7:00 PM CT NBC
5. Wife Swap. A mom that doesn’t belive in a traditional eductaion for her son is swapped out with a strict, demanding mom who expects the best for her daughters. 7:00 PM CT ABC
6. Everybody Hates Chris. Chris learns boxing in order to defend himself against Caruso, Julius suspets Rochelle of having an affair because of a phone bill with several late-nite calls, and Julius then gets the attention of an attractive woman from the neighborhood. 7:00 PM CT CW
7. Cops. Texas deputies respond to a domestic violence call, Rancho Cucamonga detectives deal with a physical fight between neighbors, and Las Vegas police are after shoplifters. 7:00 PM CT Fox
8. Flashpoint. A sniper is targeting Ed, who had killed his dad weeks ago while the man held a woman at gunpoint. One of the SRU’s own is struck in the gunfire and fights for survival. 8:00 PM CT CBS
9. Friday Night Lights. Tyra dates someone new, Matt’s mom comes to visit to hielp care for his grandmother, Smash gets ready for his college tryout, and Tami tries one last time to win over the superintendent. 8:00 PM CT NBC
10. Supernanny. Jo has her hands full helping a famiy with ten kids where the older children do much of disciplining while the mother is overhwhelmed and the father is away at his job driving a truck. 8:00 PM CT ABC
11. 13 – Fear Is Real. The players are moved to a slaughterhouse, and a new killer emerges, trying to eliminate a fellow contestant, who then tries to align with someone else. 8:00 PM CT CW
12. America’s Most Wanted. Fugitives featured include a man wanted for killing his grilfriend with a sword in front of her children, the Arieta rapist, a man on the run from a fatal shooting at a wedding reception, and a con man from Jamaica, believed to have been targeting Florida churches. 8:00 PM CT Fox
13. Mad Money. Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, and Katie Holmes star in this movie as women who devise a plan to steal from the Federal Reserve bank from the inside. Find out more at Sazze. 7:00 PM CT Starz 3
14. NUMB3RS. A pair of limited-edition tennis shoes, purchased for $250,000 by a foreign ambassador are stolen from a vault at his private residence. This leads Don and the team into the tennis shoe collecting underworld. Liz gets ready to leave for Denver to accept a Bureau promotion, yet has second thoughts. 9:00 PM CT CBS
15. Dateline NBC. It’s marked as a new episode tonight, but no information is available on what will be featured. 9:00 PM CT NBC
16. 20/20. An update is shown of the murder conviction of Skylar Deleon, a onetime child actor who murdered a couple on their yacht in California. Also, New York City madam Kristin Davis (assumably not the one from Sex and the City) discusses her upscale prostituion ring. 9:00 PM CT ABC
